One (1) Dozen Hatching Eggs : All eggs are shipped via USPS Priority mail (flat rate shipping of $35/dozen up to 2 dozen.. thank USPS for this increase)!

Only 1 dozen Marans eggs are allowed per order. If you place an order for more than 1 dozen Marans eggs under the same shipment, you will be refunded for the second dozen MINUS processing fees! This is your problem for NOT READING!!! I cannot fill more than 1 dozen at a time of these darker eggs!

12 Fertilized hatching eggs from our Blue and Black Copper Marans flock. I will do my best to provide you with the darkest eggs I have available, but please note that not ALL eggs are 8+ on the color chart, and some are also speckled. You must understand that all eggs come from the same genetic flock and hens can lay a lighter egg one day, and dark the next! Eggs shipped are based on what is laid no more than 3 days prior to shipping!

*We are currently caught up on ALL hatching egg orders and eggs will be shipped within 1-2 weeks of ordering!

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING: HATCHING EGGS

*If you want hold for pick up at post office on your box of EGGS, you MUST provide a NOTE in the notes section at checkout with your phone number! I will NOT indicate hold for pickup if no notes are provided!*

By completing your purchase, you agree with all of our policies and terms. It is YOUR responsibility to read our policies in full BEFORE completing your purchase.

There are NO cancellations, changes or refunds on hatching eggs. Payment is accepted at the time of the sale. Orders are shipped out as soon as they become available. Exact shipping dates cannot be guaranteed. Chickens cannot be forced to lay eggs, and therefore we are at the mercy of nature and the laying cycles of the birds.

Shipping is automatically added at checkout and is a flat rate of $35/dozen and includes Up To 2 dozen eggs. This covers the cost of USPS Priority shipping fees, as well as the materials used to ship eggs in a secure/protected manner. Should you choose to order more than 2 dozen eggs, you MUST place a separate order!! This is the only way to account for the cost of shipping. Orders placed with more than 2 dozen eggs will be canceled and refunded.

We are located in Southern California. Be aware that eggs shipped to the Midwest and East Coast may take a few days longer than expected or indicated by USPS tracking. Unfortunately, this is out of our hands. We ship all eggs USPS Priority in hopes they arrive ASAP post collection from our farm. Eggs are collected within the 3 days prior to shipping, so that all eggs are as fresh and viable as possible prior to shipment to you.

We have NO GUARANTEE ON HATCH RATES. Once the eggs leave our hands at the Post Office, there is no way of knowing how the eggs were handled during transit. We do our best to package all eggs tightly in foam shippers, double boxed to prevent movement and damage during transit. Should you receive a large number of broken eggs, please contact us with photos so that we can do our part to make it right. IF we decide to offer replacement eggs, it will be done at our discretion based on the information and photos provided. We have NO GUARANTEE of replacement eggs should they arrive damaged or do not hatch.

In addition to unknown transportation trauma that packages may receive, we also cannot guarantee hatch rates due to incubation parameters, styles, methods, etc. used by each individual customer. Please do as much research as possible on shipped eggs prior to purchase so that you are aware of the risks possible. A 50% hatch rate on shipped eggs is considered a "great hatch". When eggs travel from one location to another, pressure changes occur in the airplanes during transit, employees do not always handle packages kindly, temperature fluctuations are a risk, and packages get lost in transit more often than expected. All of these factors may negatively affect the hatch rates of shipped eggs and all of these factors are 100% out of our control. Do not expect a refund or replacement eggs if your eggs fail to hatch.

We conduct regular test hatches throughout the year to ensure we have high fertilization throughout all of our flocks, and we have a high ratio of cock birds to hens in all pens. We do not breed or ship pullet eggs. All birds are 1 year or older in the pens used for egg collection to customers.

Payment must be made at the time the order is placed. Once your order is placed, you will be contacted with an estimated ship date. If you place an order during the Spring/Summer, please note, that you may be on a waitlist due to multiple other orders ahead of you. If you place an order during the fall/winter, please note, you may be on a waitlist due to weather, chicken molt, etc. Do not place an order if you need eggs shipped on a specific day/date. Orders are filled as they become available to the next order in line.

We ship out hatching egg orders on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY, unless there is a holiday that week. In the event of a Monday Holiday, eggs will be shipped Tuesday of that week. Eggs will not be shipped on weeks with "Observed Holidays" during the middle or end of the week to try and prevent package delays.

It is YOUR responsibility to track your package through USPS.com. Your tracking number will be provided to you once your eggs ship.

USPS is unreliable when it comes to claims for "fragile" items, especially hatching eggs. IF eggs are received cracked/broken, documentation is important for trying to file a claim. Collect photos of package, contents within, damages, etc. immediately and report it to USPS as soon as possible. It is your responsibility to file a claim, not the shipper. Any claims made through USPS MUST be made within 24 hours of receiving your hatching eggs.

If you have any questions about the above shipping policies, please contact us before you place any orders. Once orders are placed, no refunds will be made for hatching egg orders.

Fowl Frenzy Farm is NPIP certified with the State of California and we follow strict biosecurity protocols. As a result, no returns are accepted. Should USPS try to return an undeliverable package, the eggs will be disposed of and you will forfeit your order.

If you do not agree with any of our policies, please DO NOT place your order, and look for eggs/chicks elsewhere. Our policies are firm no matter the circumstance.
